2004年，上海大学查尔斯. 戴维森工程学院 established a $1 million Global Technology Initiative, with the mission of giving 菠菜网lol正规平台 students a global perspective on technology and business developments. Its goal is to expand students’ horizons about the opportunities and challenges of a global economy, to expose them to global environmental and energy problems in which technology plays a central role, and to motivate their learning of global issues and different cultures.

自2002年秋季以来，查尔斯. 戴维森工程学院 has hosted the Silicon 硅谷领袖研讨会(SVLS). The Symposium hosts industry and technology leaders to talk about business and technology trends. It also features prominent leaders who discuss broader societal and political issues that shape our life and society.
